Large Parisian Bronze Inkwell

Stunning on-of-a-kind Parisian inkwell. Oversized and features the most unusual accents. A centurion sits atop a double-faced hinged lid. The French fleur de lis borders the outer organic edge. Around its middle are profiles of a Greek character in profile surrounded by cherubs. The base is stamped with the name of former 19th century department B. Altman et Co. Also stamped bronze and "Paris".
