Late 19th century to early 20th century bronze dish or tray of Henry the Navigator. Henry was the Duke of Viseu, better known as Prince Henry the Navigator. He was a central figure in the early days of the Portuguese Empire. He is front and center surrounded by a a wreath of olive leaves and weighted with an anchor to symbolize the impact he had on the maritime discoveries in Portugal.
