1900s French Apothecary Box
We discovered these little French apothecary boxes and just had to have them. They're pink color is just so classically French. These sweet little packages hail from a very old French Chemist's drug store in the sea town of Brittany, France. They were used to store pills against sore throats for seamen stocked in the first aid box on the boat. It is also marked that the chemist comes from the 1st class University of Nancy, another town in France. Francophiles, this has your name on it.
