Pencil on Paper Portrait by Edward Laning (1906-1981)

Sold Out

Antique (potentially, we have not opened the back of the frame, but given the artist's notoriety it could be 1940s -1960s?). Sketched by American Artist Edward Laning. Laning has murals in the New York Public Library, including his most famous work, "The Story of the Recorded Word." He also has work on display at the MET, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Carnegie Institute, among others. This sketch features a handsome man in half profile and is framed and matted in a beautiful gilt oval frame.
